Many practitioners are used to doing many things from their phone, including communicating with clients & overseeing activity within their practice. While this was always available via a web browser, a practitioner mobile app (the client-facing mobile app has been around for more than 18 months) has been one of the most requested features in our community.
Based on our interviews, the primary use-cases that firm owners and staff needed to be able to accomplish easily from their phones were the following:
- Securely message clients and respond to messages
- Quickly communicate (email, phone) without needing to copy and paste phone numbers and emails to other apps on the phone
- View firm activity in Inbox+
We focused on the client communication suite first and intentionally didn’t include workflows, templates, and document management, allowing us to bring the app to you before 2022.
This is the first version of the app, and future versions will include more features from the web version. Our goal here is to solve for the main gap points outlined above & provide proof of concept for our vision & design. If you leave a review in the app store, we ask you to consider the above as many updates will be coming, taking into account your feedback.
Securely Message with Clients
Chat with clients from wherever you are — you can quickly access client messages without having to log in on the browser. Utilize biometrics to securely log in without remembering your username and password.
Access CRM Information & Initiate Calls or Emails Instantly
No need to copy and paste client’s contact details into different apps — call or email clients with just one click.
Note: in this version you are able to email contacts from your default mailing app. The ability to send email via TaxDome will be added in future releases.
Accessing Client Data on the Go
All your contact and account data is at your fingertips. You can view account notes, create new ones, and filter contacts and accounts.
Stay Up To Date On Activity In Your Firm
Using the Mobile App, you can see important activity (notifications are sent for accounts that you follow) within your firm through your Inbox+. For example, when clients settle invoices, upload documents, sign documents, send messages, etc. you are informed and can quickly archive notifications with a simple swipe.
We plan to continue to make upgrades to the Firm Mobile App. Soon we’re going to add such features as adding contacts and accounts, as well as the ability to upload documents, create invoices, @mention teammates and so on.
