Tags – better organize your clients

When you have a dozen clients you probably don’t think about organizational tools too hard. But then you have hundreds, that’s quite another matter. There are different tools for client filtering in TaxDome. You may sort or search by name, filter by overdue/pending bills, info requests, logging time etc.

Recently we introduced one more way to keep your client list better organized. Tags are the color-coded keywords that provide you with a way to add more data about each client. Say, you can list all our common services as the tags and then assign them to the selected clients. Due to the tags, you may quickly recognize the clients who need specific services. Each client can have any number of tags.

To create tags, go to Settings > Tags, then select the color and enter the keyword. Once the tag is created, go to Clients, open the client, and go Info > Tags subtab. Then turn on the toggle next to the tag you want to assign to the client. You can see all assigned tags in client list and use filters to discover the clients with specific tags.

Revamped Client Profile

We work hard to make our system as easy as 1-2-3 while constantly adding the new features. To ensure the best user experience, the tabs in client profile were renamed and re-grouped. The Info Requests are now simply Requests. The new Info tab contains client details as well as information about the assigned team and tags. Besides, you can find the big blue +NEW button on Info and Requests tabs client’s profile. Requests, bills, tasks, notes, and payments could be quickly created from here – no need to browse to a specific tab anymore.

Client Import Improvements

Batch client import is a handy tool to have your clients in place quickly. From now, you can import even those clients who don’t have an email. Just leave the cell in your Excel file blank and the system will handle it properly.

Besides, if there are more than 100 users in Excel file, client import is performed in the background. And if client import was failed, for whatever reason, you will see the notification.

By the way, your clients may always register on its own by browsing to your firm’s TaxDome URL and clicking Sign Up button. Once the client is registered that way, you will receive the email notification.

Drag-n-drop – upload documents faster

Do it faster! You can now use drag-n-drop to add documents to TaxDome. Just select the files in your file manager, drag them to the browser window and drop into the dedicated area. Drag-n-drop works for firm’s prepared documents as well as for the internal files uploading.

A Completely New Onboarding Process – Make Yourself at Home

At TaxDome, we value every customer. It’s not simply about getting users to sign up. It’s important for us to make you understand our product as soon as possible. That’s why we’ve just added the onboarding process for the newly registered firms. It helps you to navigate in the TaxDome and complete six essential steps before you will start using it in the day-to-day work.

The onboarding banner is displayed at the top until all steps are completed.
