Client communication is crucial for building trust and retaining clients. In TaxDome, we’ve built an ecosystem where you keep clients in the loop without spending extra effort on this by means of automations and bulk actions.
Today we’re excited to introduce a user experience update to messages, the first step in a series of improvements that will be coming in the near term to help you better communicate with your clients.
Here’s what’s new: message creation now happens in the right sidebar. This is helpful to avoid losing context of what you were working on when you send a message. The result is fewer clicks & less disruption to your work.
You now need fewer clicks to send out a secure message.
Other ways to incorporate secure messages into your practice
- Personalize your communication by adding account shortcodes or date shortcodes to the message title or body. This way your automated messages are more personalized.
- Automate regular document upload. If you need to get documents (e.g bank statements) from your clients frequently (ie – weekly, monthly, etc) – you can automate this process. If you use job schedules, these messages can be sent automatically at your desired intervals.
3. Mention colleagues in messages when you need them to step into the communication. Read more about @mentions
What’s next
Secure messages will become even more chat-like as all parties will be able to see when the other person is typing or has uploaded documents in real-time. In addition, the ability to bulk send messages to many accounts at once will also occur in the right sidebar. Finally, you’ll be able to send messages using just your keyboard with ctrl + enter.
