Client Tasks: New Feature for Efficient Communication with Your Clients

Incorporate your clients into your workflow. Assign them tasks, communicate instantly, and schedule automatic reminders.Messages to clients—just like WhatsApp but integrated with your portal and workflow platform as opposed to a standalone application—can now include a task list.

Finding an efficient way to get the information you need from clients is one of those common dilemmas tax, accounting, and bookkeeping practitioners often face. If you send an email, it will be hard to track and might get lost in a sea of messages. With Client Tasks, the checklist of pending items is clearly visible inside your message as well as on the summarized Client Task page (when there are pending tasks across multiple messages).

TaxDome offers sending customized organizers, but what about the times you need just a few items from the client and don’t want to send a long questionnaire? Say a W-2 and 1099-K from your client? 

Here’s how it works:

When the client checks these items off as done, you both stay on the same page. And you now need fewer clicks and less time to complete your job!

Sending a message is also quicker and requires less clicks. Titles are now optional and years have been removed. Soon, you will also be able to add tasks to message templates for automated actions.
