This month we focused on making it easier for your firm to generate reports to analyze in the web browser or to print/export for analysis in excel. Additionally, we improved two crucial elements of TaxDome to ensure a successful tax season: workflow and organizers. Your clients have an improved interface to complete and submit organizers, and your team has an improved interface for pipelines. Finally, for all the night owls, we’ve upgraded scheduled emails to include the ability to cancel them in bulk, should you need to.

📈 Reporting
Reporting is critical for any firm to understand revenue, efficiency, and other important metrics. As the parameters each firm needs to search by differ, we started by releasing saved filters (templates), so that you can compose the most complex of reports and then reuse them time and again. You can also share them with your team for maximum efficiency. Additionally, we’ve upgraded the UI to not reset when you scroll through the results.

🤖 Workflow Automation
Workflow is always a focus and the past month’s releases focused on interface improvements which provide more flexibility in setting up automations and more predictability to manage Jobs more effectively:
When moving Jobs manually from stage to stage or one pipeline to another, you can now update account tags. This is especially helpful if you utilize conditional automations.
Visual indicator for conditional stages
Conditional stages in a pipeline are quickly identifiable with a new text badge: Stage conditions. Clicking this text will allow you to see which Account tags are necessary for a Job to enter that stage. As a reminder, if the Account does not meet the conditions (required tags), the Job will skip to the next stage.

- Flexible pipeline settings. Create new templates, reminders and update account access settings while creating or editing your pipelines with no back and forth.
- Soon, you will have a filter in the ‘manage schedule’ area to better find those 100 (example) clients who are bookkeeping and quickly add them to a schedule.
📞 CRM
Bulk cancellation of scheduled emails
A few months ago, we released the ability to schedule emails. This helpful feature allows night owls to work when they prefer – and have emails go out during the day. Scheduling many emails was easy – but if you made an error or typo (we’re all human!) – there was no way to cancel those emails and course correct. We’ve now added the ability to bulk cancel scheduled emails.
📝 Document Management
Organizers: UI improvements
During busy season, we wanted to focus on interface improvements that would increase the percentage of clients who complete your organizer and to reduce the time it takes them to do it. Based on your feedback, there were two key issues that came up time and again: required questions were not flagged well and even though all answers auto-saved (and still do!), clients were not aware that they could exit the organizer and complete it later. Both of these interface issues have now been resolved, amongst other improvements.
- Clients: Save as draft button lets your clients exit organizer and finish it later without submitting it. Organizers still autosave, we just made the interface more intuitive for your clients
- Clients: Save & submit button gives clients clear understanding that they’re sending the organizer for your review. More>>
- Clients: Required & unanswered questions are now marked red and clients will be automatically routed to them if they click save & submit
- Firms: Preview mode allows you to test and tweak how your clients see questions, conditions, texts and repeatable sections. More>>
