We’re striving to make your e-signature workflow as smooth as possible this upcoming tax season. For that very reason we have slightly changed the way you pick signers for the document. This simple yet important step will allow us to roll out E-signature Templates as the next step of accounting automation 🤖.
E-signature Templates will be perfect for any form you send to clients repeatedly. For example, by utilizing E-signature Templates, you will no longer need to add signature, date or other fields to Form 8879. TaxDome will do it for you automatically, saving you time.
But let’s start small.
What’s Changed
We streamlined the process of choosing the person you need to sign. Previously, you could only view contact emails, but it wasn’t always easy to select the right person this way (who is bballgirl83959059_work@gmail.com?) We’ve made it easier for you by showing you both contact name & email in the dropdown.
Recently we’ve introduced the ability for you as a firm to e-sign documents along with clients. In this update, the My Signature field moved to the drop-down menu resulting in a more unified and predictable interface.
To sign a document, please choose Me from the dropdown, then add a Signature field.
What’s Next
The UX changes mentioned above will help us develop E-signature Templates. We’re sharing the first prototype to give you a notion of how it will look.
