The long awaited Mobile App for both iOS and Android has been released. Additionally, we’ve made improvements to CRM, chats, documents and signatures.
If you’ve noticed it’s been quiet on the western front, that’s on purpose: we slow down releases ahead of deadlines intentionally, but we’ll be back to your regularly scheduled programming soon with big feature releases next month.

Long-awaited mobile apps for firms are here! The first version of the native iOS & Android apps has been released, enabling you to run your practice from anywhere.
You can now access CRM information, track firm activity, and communicate with your clients on the go!
📞 CRM
Chat-like improvements to Messages
Big strides have been made this month in moving towards a chat-like messenger, ensuring a smooth messaging experience. Here are a few of the changes made:
- Keyboard shortcuts. Now, you can send messages by simply hitting CTRL+Enter.
- Timestamps. Every message now includes information on the date and time it was sent.
- …someone is typing. When chatting with clients or team members, you will be able to see when they are typing you a response.
- Real-time. Chats are now fully real time, requiring no page refresh. If a participant sends a message, starts typing, creates a new thread, archives a thread, updates client tasks or attaches documents, the information is shown instantaneously to all participants.
New Text Editor
The text editor in all text fields across TaxDome has been upgraded. You can now modify font size, text color, and highlight color in tasks, contracts, Jobs, emails, and messages. Additionally, new formatting options are available when you create organizer templates, allowing you to draw your client’s attention to text blocks in organizers by making your letters huge and/or bright red.
📚 Document Management
Merge PDF documents
You can now quickly combine multiple PDF files into one single PDF document. And, as a reminder, TaxDome has a built-in PDF editor for marking up annotating documents.
E-signatures flow redesigned
We streamlined the process of choosing the person you need to sign. Previously, you could view only contact emails, but it can be difficult to identify people by only their emails and it wasn’t always clear if you picked the right person. Now, we’ve made it easier for you by showing both contact name & email in the dropdown.
As a reminder, you as a firm can e-sign documents along with clients, simply choose ‘Me’ from the same dropdown menu.
🔥 Other
- Usability improvements in Pipelines. Speed and optimization improvements were a focus for Workflow this month. The larger a firm, the more Jobs they can have in one pipeline, especially when they’re added automatically on schedule. Previously they all were displayed at the same time, cluttering your kanban board and slowing page times. This has been changed to show 10 jobs with the ability to load more as you need.
